Introduction
Before you place an order you should read these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree to any of these Terms and Conditions then we will not accept your order.
Acceptance of your Order
Shortly after you have placed an order with us by pressing the 'Pay button' an email will be sent to you acknowledging the details of your order. This email is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from Vedology.
Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and Vedology will take place when your order is dispatched, unless you have cancelled the order in accordance with the Order Cancellation instructions set out below.
Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:
The product you ordered being out of stock - see Product Availability
Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment
The identification of a pricing or product description error
Breach or attempted breach of any Terms and Conditions for any special offer as well as these General Terms and Conditions
Failure to meet the eligibility to order criteria set out in the Terms and Conditions
Internet orders will be confirmed by email. Should you not receive confirmation within 2 business days, please contact our support team at support@vedology.co.uk.
Customer support
Our support team will be delighted to help you place an order, advise you on the range of merchandise we offer on our website and help you with queries about payment. Please email them at support@vedology.co.uk. We endevour to respoond to all queries within the hour, however, this can vary dependant on how busy we are. We guarantee a response within 24 hours.
Order Cancellation
You cannot cancel an order you have placed as we print to order. Meaning, as soon as you place an order with us, this goes straight to our supplier who begins the bespoke print process. This means that each order you place with us is essentially hot off the press!
Payment methods
We accept all major credit and debit cards (see options available at checkout) as well as paypal.
Pricing Policy
Price are shown on our website in GBP are inclusive of VAT.
Prices may change and offers may be withdrawn at any time.
Product Availability / Information
We feature products on our website that have been carefully selected for Online Shopping. Once an item is not available it will be taken off the website at the earliest opportunity and may not be available again.
Prices of products may change from time to time. If items that you order are not available, subject to a delay or the price is higher than that shown on your order, we will try to contact you at the email address you provided when placing your order.
If we cannot contact you or receive no response to our email, we will continue to process the remaining item(s) on your order. All items are subject to availability.
If, due to unforeseen circumstances, it is necessary to substitute an item, the item will be of equal or greater value than that which it replaces.
Delivery Information
Standard delivery costs £3.95.
UK Delivery:
Please allow 14 days for delivery of products you have purchased on the Vedology website. Time shall not be of the essence in relation to this contract.
Worldwide delivery:
Please allow 5-14 days for delivery of products you have purchased on the Vedology website. Time shall not be of the essence in relation to this contract.
Import Duty:
Vedology cannot be held responsible should local customs authorities wish to confiscate any particular item, or charge any import duty. The recipient is responsible for paying the duty.
Acceptance of delivery:
We will require you to take delivery of the goods ordered when tendered to you. If you fail to make alternative arrangements with the courier engaged to deliver the goods to you within 14 days after the first attempt to deliver goods to you has occurred, then we may, at our complete discretion, store and insure the goods ordered at your cost until delivery can take place or the goods can be returned at your cost to our custody.
In either event, we reserve the right, at our complete discretion, to set off any of these costs or any consequential costs reasonably incurred by ourselves as a first charge against any monies we have received from you in respect of the order. Such recovery of costs would be without prejudice to our rights otherwise under these Terms and Conditions.
Returns Policy
Items can only be refunded if unopened or faulty or your instructions have not been followed. Refunds will be made against the original form of tender.
Returns Instructions
Contact us for a returns form. Complete the Returns Form indicating whether you would like a refund or exchange. Package the merchandise to prevent damage, enclosing the Returns Form. Send the merchandise using registered post or other secure method of delivery, retaining the receipt until you have received credit for your return. Proof of posting is not proof of delivery.
Please note that the return costs are not pre-paid. Postage or other return costs will be the customer's responsibility and will be reimbursed by us only in the case of damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied goods. In cases were we do refund return postage, we will only refund the cost of standard Royal Mail registered post. If you choose to use any enhanced return option, such as Special Delivery, this will be at your expense. Returns are sent at your risk.
Privacy policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the GDPR)
We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. We do not sell, trade or otherwise pass on your details unless it is necessary to complete your order (for example, to DPD where you have requested Express deliver). The lawful processing reason for this is contract.
We will not sign you up to any marketing emails, but it you choose to subscribe, or if you are already subscribed, we will give you the chance to opt-out at any time. The lawful processing reason is consent.
The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct them promptly.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law. This includes the encryption of all data in our databases.
We may use analytics technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can not be used to identify you.
We do not store any financial or sensitive information.
We would like to reassure all our customers that we keep your details in an encrypted database, and we don't store (and never have stored) any sensitive information such as card details, date of births or passwords.
From the beginning, we have striven to collect and hold as few details as possible from customers, and you'll have noticed that we only collect data where is it is necessary to provide the service to you (your product(s), address to send product(s), payment details to receive payment), or where it is our legal obligation (for example, we have to keep details of our sales for HMRC as part of our duty to keep accurate financial records).
Analytics
All analytics data is anonymised and no identifying information or pseudo-identifying information about which pages of our website you look at is stored.
Emails
If you don't wish to receive our emails anymore, please click the link to unsubscribe. This will remove your email permanently and instantly from special offer emails.
You will not be subscribed to marketing emails without your express consent.
Transnational emails are separate and will still be sent (e.g. order confirmations). It is possible to unsubscribe from these in the same manner, but we highly recommend that you don't as it would not then be possible to track your orders.
Cookies
We have completed a website cookies audit and we only set cookies that are necessary to make the website functional. All advertising and re-targeting cookies have been removed.
